The Tea Shop was founded by Reed DuFrane, known locally and worldwide as the Tea Man. The Tea Man passed away in 2001, and since then the Tea Shop has been operated by his family: widow, Virginia; daughters, Lisa and Laura; and grandson, Matt and Matt’s wife, Becky; and granddaughter, Molly. The Tea Shop has become a real family operation! For many years, The Tea Shop operated a storefront in Madison, Wisconsin. In recent years, it has become completely web-based, but remains committed to the same high standards of quality, and continues the vision of the Tea Man by providing its customers with only the best teas from around the world.
